The National Stock Exchange, or NSE, is India’s biggest and most important stock market. With a market value of more than US$ 3.4 trillion, it is now the 10th biggest stock exchange in the world.

The NSE has trade services that run smoothly and without problems every day of the year. On weekdays, it is open for trade from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (average session), which is 6 hours and 15 minutes. On both Saturdays and Sundays, the NSE is closed for business. On these trade breaks, there is no trading in the stock sector, equity derivative segment, or SLB segment.

Aside from weekends, the NSE holiday list includes national and local holidays. The following events are breaks on the NSE Market in 2023:
