IFB top-load washing machines also have error numbers that help users figure out what’s wrong and fix it. Here are some of the most popular IFB top-load washing machine error codes and what they mean:
E1: Water Inlet Error: This error means that the washing machine isn’t getting enough water. It could be because the water inlet hose is clogged or bent, or because the water inlet valve is broken.
The E2 error number means that there is a problem with the water drain. It could be because the drain filter is clogged, the drain hose is jammed, or the drain pump is broken.
E3: Lid Open Error: The E3 error happens when the washing machine notices that the lid is open during a wash run. Close the lid the right way, and start the cycle again.
E4: Unbalanced Load mistake: The E4 mistake means that the load in the drum is not balanced. It could happen if the laundry is spread out in different places. Move the clothes around and start the cycle again.
E5: Overflow Error: The E5 error code means that the maximum amount of water in the washing machine has been reached. It could be because the water level sensor is broken or because there is something wrong with the control board.
E6 – No Drain Error: The E6 error happens when the water doesn’t drain out of the washing machine properly. Check to see if the drain hose or pump is clogged, and if so, clear it.
E7: Motor Error: The E7 error code means that the washing machine’s motor isn’t working right. It could be because the motor is broken or there is a problem with the link.
E8: power Error: The E8 error means that the washing machine has a problem with the power. It may need to be looked at and fixed by a professional.
E9: Error with the water level sensor. The E9 error code means that there is a problem with the water level sensor. It could be a problem with a sensor or the computer board.
E10: Heating Error: If there is a problem with the heating element, the E10 error will show up. It may need to be looked at and fixed by a professional.
