How to Change or Setup a SMS Center Number

You have two options to set or change your Airtel message center number from your mobile.

Method 1:

  1. Tap the Application screen icon from your Home screen.
  2. Tap and find Phone.
  3. Type *#*#4636 #*#*.
  4. Tap Phone Information
  5. Scroll down to SMSC.
  6. In the input field, enter the SMSC number and then click Update.

Method 2

  1. Open Default Mobile Messaging App
  2. Navigate to Settings 
  3. Click on Advanced Settings or Message Settings
  4. Next, click on SMS Service Center
  5. Correct SMSC number updated
  6. Restart the app
